So this post is more for me and posterity's sake -- mostly so that I can remember that I actually did this with 4 little kids. Sorry there are no pictures.
Today was our Stake Temple Day. The temple is an hour away and has a stake center right next to it. So we took the boys, some balls, and a LOT of food and spent the entire day at the temple. We left at 8:30 and got back at 7:30. IT WAS FABULOUS. The boys were great and we just had a fun day.
Our Stake totally took over the temple today. It was the busiest it has ever been (we are in the Detroit Temple district) It was wonderful to see so many people we recognized and to share the day with them.
So if you are looking for a fun family outing... GO TO THE TEMPLE!!!
