House for Sale -- Week 7

Well, we were going to have many more updates on the house.... but we haven't. So, after the first two weeks, we only had 2 people look at the house. We were a little concerned, but then we found out that health insurance for Benjamin might not work out in Michigan. If the insurance didn't work out, we would stay here, rather than move. So, we didn't really want to sell the house unless we were sure we were moving.

Two and a half weeks ago, we finally went up to Ann Arbor to figure everything out. After a very short visit, we worked out the health insurance, and we knew we were going. We then really got into the house selling mode. We've been cleaning, finishing, and other stuff, and hopefully the house will sell sooner, rather than later. We dropped the price to $177,400, and hope that it will move... The first week after we got home we had 4 more people look at it. That was very hopeful, but this last week we only had one person come by. We even had an open house yesterday, but no one came. That's a little discouraging. We still have a couple of months before it really has to sell, but it would be better for it to sell earlier, rather than later.

Well, enough complaining. Here are some of the recent pictures of the house. Enjoy.

What a beautiful house. I especially like the looks of the hammock under those enormous trees. I'm sure there are a lot of memories you'll always have from such a lovely home/yard. :)
