This year, we decided it would be nice if the boys each made a gift for each other instead of buying them. We let them decide what to make and helped them do it. We ended up with a few musical instruments (complements of Jeffrey and Jonny). This is Benjamin with his new drum. He really likes it and it works great!
These two pictures show Jonny using his new microphone and microphone stand. (Jeffrey came up with this idea, and found all of the supplies completely on his own. In fact most of the time he was working on it I was nagging him to do something else... I didn't realize how great it would turn out!)
Here is Jeffrey with the sweet guitar Jonny made him. It was a lot of work for both Jonny and me, but we were both happy to see Jeffrey loved it.
And what did we have the most fun using these instruments for... Jammin' along side Uncle Robby to Guitar Hero. What could be more fun than that?!?
Eventually Jeffrey and Jonny both gave Guitar Hero a try and had a blast. YEAH FOR GRANDMA'S HOUSE!
