My Dearest Daughter,
You are so very special. Maybe some days you don't feel special, maybe you just feel ordinary and plain, but you are special. You are special because you are a daughter of God and He loves you. He loves you so much, infinitely more than I can love you (and that is a lot). You cannot even begin to comprehend how much He loves you, but He does and that makes you special. Think of all those times you wanted to be a princess, and yet you are already more than that, you are a daughter of God, and you can grow to be a Goddess yourself. If that isn't special, I don't know what is. So remember, remember that even in your darkest hours, you are loved by your Father in Heaven, that you are special.
The world will do its very best to make you forget who you are. They will tell you that as a girl you are not as good as boys. Don't believe them. Girls are different from boys (as I am sure you have figured that out with 5 brothers) Girls are different, but different doesn't mean less than. Oh no. Girls are different, we have different jobs, different talents, different responsibilities. But by no means are we less than boys. Remember that, because the world will try to confuse you and belittle you. They will tell you that you need to be the same, to be totally equal, in order to still be special. But boys and girls can never be the same, nor can every aspect of our lives be equal because we are different, and that's okay. And there is nothing wrong with different, as long as you remember that you are special.
The world will tell you that you need power, recognition, fame, and appreciation to be special. That is not true. The world is wrong, because you are already special. And when it feels like you aren't, just pray and ask God what He thinks of you, and you will feel special. Because remember, He loves you so much.
So instead of focusing on what the world will tell you, focus on your relationship with God. Pray to Him and really talk to Him and He will talk to you. You will know that you are not plain or ordinary or less than someone else, but that you are special. And as long as you know that you are special, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks!
Love,
Mommy
