1st Annual Hill Family Christmas Letter

All,

To commemorate 10 years of Hill Family Christmas Letters, I will be posting our letters from the last 10 Christmases for the next 10 days. Enjoy!

1st Annual Hill Family

Christmas Letter

December 1, 2002

Dear friends and family,

As Jeff and I reached our six-month anniversary, we realized that our newly married status obligated us to write and send out our first Christmas card. Upon pondering the events that have taken place this last year we have found ourselves truly blessed with many exciting and wonderful experiences. To begin we would like to list the top ten most important things accomplished (and not accomplished) this year.

10. Jenny passed Organic Chemistry!

9. Jeff didn't pass Organic Chemistry L (Jeff also didn't take organic chemistry J ).

8. We traveled the United States - visiting: Zion's National Park for our honeymoon, Maryland, Washington State, and California.

7. We moved into our first apartment together, a small and cozy studio.

6. We moved out of our first apartment together, into the Hill's residence - a seven bedroom palace left vacant for two months.

5. Jeff successfully submitted his first article to the New Era and we are expecting to see it published sometime in the near future.

4. We have not graduated, but we plan to a year from April.

3. We were married on May 30, 2002.

2. Our little family of 2 has grown to 2.53644965 (sorry, but we are engineers).

1. The .53644965 has been nicknamed "Raspberry" by the family and will be joining our household around April 12th (The joining the family is the important part, not the nickname. Sorry Robby).

We truly are grateful for all the love and support that has been shown to us by each of you and our Heavenly Father. We feel incredibly blessed to be together with so many of our loved ones. May your holidays be filled with love, laughter, and a little bit of turkey. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

The gospel is true. Life is WONDERFUL!!!

Jeff, Jenny, and Raspberry

Here’s a view from the first ultrasound. Too bad raspberry is so modest. We still don’t know the gender!!

I started on letter 4 and thought you were recycling letters to see if anyone noticed.... Reminiscing the last 10 years makes more sense. :)

Love ya all!
