Last week Jeffrey turned 8! I have been wanting to blog about it all week, but life happened and you just barely get to hear about it now! We were in the middle of Spring Break for his birthday (lucky boy), so on his birthday we got up and went to the movies. The local theatre was showing
Despicable Me for free, so since we already knew we loved the movie we went and saw it on the big screen. We had a lot of fun going with our friends too! Then off we headed to
McDonald's to eat and play at their play place. Jeffrey's birthday lunch was his very first Big Mac! He loved it! We were pleasantly surprised to find Jeff home when we got back, so we opened presents in the middle of the day! Jeffrey got a lot of fun things for his baptism: his own set of scriptures with his name engraved on them (he actually earned these by reading the entire Book of Mormon before his birthday!), a scripture bag, scripture pencils... He also got a First Aid Kit and a toy! Later we had
ice cream cake (it was really good) and just had fun together. It was a great, relaxing, birthday!
Jeffrey is getting very mature in his old age! He is doing well in school and enjoying it. He is a good reader and prefers to read fact not fiction (though he enjoys both). He is a good big brother and tries to make good choices! We are glad he is part of our family... we love him so much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFFREY!
