One really fun thing to do while at my parents house is to catch fireflies... especially when you are a little boy! We had a blast staying up late and chasing the fireflies all around the yard. There were tons and no one came back empty handed. The boys even put them in a nice little tank and slept with them. We let them go the next day, but it was the coolest night light ever!
Here is Isaac chasing the fireflies with the net used to clean the pool. It worked remarkably well.
Jeffrey caught TONS and really easily.
Benjamin was more my slow and steady bug catcher, he waited until they came to him.
Jonny on the other hand ran all over the place!
Katie didn't actually catch any, or want to touch any either. But she did like to look at them and remind us that they are bugs!
